一、Performance introduction
Sizing machine includes two types: horizontal type and inclined type. Purposes of top sizing machine are to prevent infiltration, and to promote physical property of paper like surface strength and inner cementing property. It’s one of paper property promoting method. The sizing solution is painted on the paper surface evenly by top sizing machine. Through the physical action like high temperature infiltration, interpenetration, high line pressure pressing, a water proof layer is formed on the paper surface. The ability of water resistance is improved; at the same time, some technical indexes are improved like transverse ring crush index and longitudinal breaking length.
Inclined structure of sizing machine is formed by a pair of sizing roll sloping 30°from the level while horizontal type is 0°. Paper enters the sizing tank formed by the two sizing rolls and be sized, and then it enters the drying cylinder. Two rolls: one is chromeplated roll or artificial stone roll; one is special rubber roll for sizing. The top roll is firmed, and pressure of the rubber roll side increases. Its air powered pressure. Hyperbolic pneum sets are used. There’re two kinds of transmission: single point and double point.
Sizing machine is a kind of complete equipment. It includes left hand and right hand two kinds according to its transmission position. People standing at the end of the machine and confront the machine, if the transmission is on the right hand, it is right hand type, and if it’s opposite it should be left hand type.
2. Technical parameter:
(1)、Sizing calendar roll: steel pipe chromeplated or artificial stone roll, hard chromium thickness: 0.15mm, rubber hardness: “A”100°±3, grease lubrication.
(2)、Sizing rubber roll: rubber patched iron, material: HT200, hardness: “A”85°±3 (buna-N can also be used), wall thickness: 70mm, bottom bulkhead, pivot bracket 45# steel, designed line pressure: 40KN/m, working line pressure: 30KN/m.
(3)、Carrying roll: 180×3400mm, made by seamless steel pipe, excircle hard chromium thickness: 0.1mm, bearing 1509.
(4)、Spreading carrying roll: seamless steel with hard chromium, 1mm screw threads on the roll surface, the distance is 48mm.
(5)、When producing high grade paper, a adjustable rubber patched carrying roll with cambered surface is added after paper gets out of the sizing machine.
(6)、Two sizing roll scrapper which the material is fabric laminate, Scrapper thickness is 5mm, the scrappers are only used when carrying the paper. They should leave the roll surface after that.
(7)、A set of paper pulp stopper which has inlet pipe and returning pipe.
(8)、Press device: compressed air provided by the air holder is delivered to the sizing rolls through 320 pneum. The handle is designed on the control panel. The two pneums are adjustable. When machine stops, pressure is reduced; it leaves the top roll automatically and stays at the proper position. compressed air’s pressure≤600Pa.
(9)、One transmission point is designed on this machine, but two transmission points can be designed if it is required. Speed keeps accordance with design of paper making machine. Transmission shaft and reducer are available. (buy it yourself who are variable frequency generator users)
(10)、This machine’s structure is box-type with iron basic board. Sizing tank is welded by stainless steel.
(11)、This machine is a single side sizing machine. If double sizing is required, you just need to take the carrying roll at the entrance to the other side.
